Thanks for visiting my site! In addition to doing some radio and film voice work lately, I have recently become a certified coach (check out www.Glad2CoachU.com) and am teaching teleclasses on the Law of Attraction. I’ve also begun a children’s book, tentatively titled Growing Up Gladdie, that will feature some of my childhood adventures. We did not produce my mom’s play yet - around the time we were going to start working on it, she decided to up and move to Virginia to live near my sister after 29 years in the apartment we grew up in! And now she’s planning a move to the Philippines(!!), so for now the project is shelved. If you'd like to order copies of her novel, it's available on Amazon.com. My mother’s name is Laura Lazarte and the novel is called El Angel Emisario.

As I have often said, thank you so much for your support in visiting my site and in my new ventures as a coach. I have started sending out newsletters and look forward to having you join one of my lists!

Come see me on December 11 & 12, 2004 in ESCAPING JUAREZ, a story about a young factory worker who gets kidnapped and fights to survive in Juarez, Mexico. Based on the true murders that are STILL going on in Juarez, the border town of El Paso, Texas, this is a powerful and intense drama. I am playing a villain role, very different from the type of roles I usually play. As an actor, this is a welcome stretch into areas of the psyche and spirit that we don't usually want to explore. I hope to see many of you there and wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful Holiday Season!

Heckscher Theatre at El Museo del Barrio, 1230 Fifth Avenue (@ 104th Street)
Saturday, December 11 @ 8pm
Sunday, December 12 @ 5pm
$15 general admission, $10 students & seniors Reserve tickets or purchase from Museum Shop at (212) 831-7272.

Just did a concert reading of Isabel Rising/Eva Del Barrio, a full-length musical that incorporates operatic, pop and Latin rhythms. I played Isabel, the 18 year old "Eve" character (as in All About Eve), and ambitious and eager star-to-be.

Working with NY Artists Unlimited, which was recently granted a low-rent space by NYC! Fundraising skills being honed, I've been talking to politicians, city officials and anyone else who can throw us some assistance. We could use volunteers and in-kind contributions in addition to financial support, so if anyone reading this would like to help, give a call! (212) 242-6036

Escaping Juarez, the original play by Emmy-winner Elvira Carrizal, played to packed houses last month. Dealing with the murdered young women in Juarez, Mexico, on the border of El Paso, the play affected and inspired people to take action. We will be adapting it to the screen and plan to shoot in El Paso in the summer of 2004.
